THE DO-DECA-PENTATHLON is the story of two grown brothers who secretly rekindle their fiercely competitive childhood sporting event – a homemade Olympics of 25 events – during a family reunion in order to finally determine the ultimate champion. When the rest of the family is disrupted by their unfinished business, the brothers must choose between their passion for beating the hell out of each other or the greater good of the family. THE DO-DECA-PENTATHLON made its World Premiere at the 2012 SXSW Film Festival.

Event Info
New Orleans natives Jay and Mark Duplass returned to their hometown to film "The Do-Deca-Pentathlon" in 2008. The movie was inspired by a real competition created by Anton and Mark Solak, who grew up down the street from the Duplasses in Metairie. The movie stars Steve Zissis and was produced by Stephanie Langhoff, both from New Orleans and Duplass friends since high school.
Julie Vorus and Reid Williams who costar in the film will be in attendance at the screening.
