  • Movie presentation of The FP
In a dystopian future, a relentless turf war rages. Two rival gangs feud for control of rural wasteland Frazier Park ('The FP') in the deadly arena of competitive dance-fight video game "Beat-Beat Revelation." After hometown hero BTRO is slain on the dance platform by thug leader L Dubba E, his protégé younger brother JTRO (Jason Trost) goes into isolation, vowing never to duel again. One year later, The FP is in ruins, and JTRO must find the courage to return and restore order in a ruthless battle for revenge that can only leave one man dancing. From the producers of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY and featuring narration by James Remar (THE WARRIORS), THE FP is a fury of fierce footwork, triumphant montages and neon street wear that Moviefone calls "a rare ready-made cult hit."

Event Info

The World's Coolest Film Club is extremely pleased to offer our members and the citizens of Chattanooga the opportunity to see something truly strange and wonderful and in the cozy confines of the Majestic theater no less. Just WATCH the trailer for this film … we'll wait. Did you tear up a little? Get a strange fuzzy feeling in your chest? Feel an uncontrollable desire to find an arcade with a Dance Dance Revolution machine and go nuts on it while dressed as an extra from a Mad Max film? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, MES needs YOU to help us make it happen. MES is extremely pleased to announce our partnership with the VERY cool folks at TUGG, who have put a world of great new films at our fingertips and will allow yer pals at MES to even further expand the sorts of indie, classic and obscure films that we're able to bring to Chattanooga. Here’s how it works. All we have to do is prove that the demand exists and how we do that is easy. We BUY tickets. Once we get the required number of butts in the required number of seats, our event is all systems go and we'll all be able to gather and watch something amazing that never would have graced the screens of our local theaters otherwise. Sound cool? It IS cool, but we need you to help us make it happen and to make Chattanooga a safer place for bizarro cinema. Before the film, we'll have a brief post-apocalyptic fashion show courtesy of our buds at Collective Clothing, and we'll be encouraging all who attend to come in costume as well (who knows there may even be a prize for the best costume … I heard a rumor that there was).
