    Legends of the Knight weaves together the stirring true stories of individuals who have overcome devastating obstacles, unselfishly given to the community, and embraced their inner superhero because of their love of Batman. Through the deeply personal tales of Batman fans, writers, and filmmakers, this feature-length documentary explores the power of heroic stories and encourages viewers to find their own unique path to heroism. Funded by over 1,100 people from around the world, Legends of the Knight is a return to our childhood dreams of being a hero. Put on your cape, and be inspired!

The Not So Cool Kids Podcast and Motor City Comic Con 2014 is proud to host a screening of the inspiring documentary 'Legends of the Knight' to benefit a local charitable organization - The Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan. CLF's mission is to provide and promote compassionate, personalized support to adults and children in Michigan affected by leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood related disorders. 

This mission fits so perfectly with the message this film delivers, 'Legends of the Knight' is a documentary that weaves together the stirring true stories of individuals that have overcome devastating obstacles, given back to their community, and embraced their inner superhero because of their love of Batman. We will have some special guests to speak before the screening at AMC 20 Livonia and our hope is that you will join us to celebrate the human spirit, the strength of community, and the inspiration one fictional character can ignite in the lives of people around the world. Our hopes are to raise enough to support CLF's mission. With your help we can make a difference! With your ticket purchase, you can also select an amount to donate directly to our charity of choice. Welcome to a special screening of 'Legends of the Knight', a film that inspires the hero in all of us. Our purpose for having this screening is to spread awareness about the film's message to the Metro Detroit area and assist the Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan with their fundraising efforts so they can continue to help Michigan families that are struggling with Leukemia or other blood related diseases.  The Not So Cool Kids Podcast and the Motor City Comic Con 2014 are co-hosting this event as the official pre-convention weekend bash, prior to the start of the 25th Anniversary edition of Metro-Detroit's finest pop culture event -Motor City Comic Con!

ABOUT THE CO-HOSTS:

The Not So Cool Kids Podcast- Our web-based show is hoping to change the perception of what is means to be "Not So Cool" by celebrating nerd-culture and pop-culture fandoms.  Through industry interviews and topical conversations related to television, movies, comic books, literature, art, fan communities, current events, gaming (video, table top), and a variety of other geeky things we hope to entertain and inform our viewers.  Get down and nerdy with us three times a month!  

Motor City Comic Con- Motor City Comic Con gathers multi-media dealers exhibitors from across the country, offering a vast variety of pop culture merchandise, including unique art, comics, anime, tee shirts, movie memorabilia, posters, and more. Over 250 comic book creators, writers and artists will be on site at Comic Con, as well as more than forty actors from the television and movie industry. Comic Con offers big fun for kids young and old!
